A method for the determination of trifluoroethanol residues in isoflurane was established by Haohan Chromatography (Shandong) Application Technology Development Co., Ltd. Method Capillary gas chromatography was used with PEG-20M quartz capillary column (0.32mm × 30m,0.25 μ m) Results The linear relationship of the impurity trifluoroethanol to be determined was good within the concentration range of 0.004% ～ 0.012%, and the average recovery was 99.0%. Conclusion This method is simple, accurate, and sensitive, and can be used for the determination of trifluoroethanol residues in isoflurane
