中国各类消费品的化学安全研究还停留在较为初级的阶段。一方面，中国尚缺乏覆盖范围广泛的通用化学安全标准，仍然沿袭一直以来以产品、行业为中心制定标准的传统模式。另一方面，产品的化学安全标准指标也有待完善，近年来发展的新检测方法、已被证实有害的新物质还需要进一步引入产品安全标准体系。

与PVC塑料行业良好发展预期形成鲜明对比的是，产品的化学安全问题一直是挥之不去的阴影。个别生产企业为降低成本，以次充好，甚用回收料代替。然而，相关检测标准缺少对各类被非法使用的添加剂、尤其是感观明显的挥发性有机物的环保风险检测。因此，制定了国家标准《消费品—塑胶材料—邻苯二甲酸酯类增塑剂快速筛选》（GB/T 39110-2020）。

The chemical safety research of various consumer products in China is still at a relatively preliminary stage. On the one hand, China still lacks general chemical safety standards covering a wide range, and still follows the traditional model of setting standards centered on products and industries. However, the relevant testing standards lack environmental protection risk testing for various illegally used additives, especially volatile organic compounds with obvious sensory appearance.
