This section presents a gas chromatography method for the quantitative determination of He, H2, O2, N2, CO2, and C1 to C8 hydrocarbons in natural gas using two packed columns. This method is suitable for laboratory and on-line analysis and detection. It can analyze gases whose component mole fraction is within the range of Table 1, but cannot contain liquid hydrocarbons. This range does not represent the detection limit, but the limit range of the degree specified by this method. Even if one or more components may not be present in the sample, this method is still applicable. This part is only used in conjunction with Part 1 and Part 2 of GB/T27894.
